Indication
Perkinil is used as an adjunctive treatment for all forms of parkinsonian syndrome.
It is mainly indicated for the symptomatic treatment of idiopathic (paralysis agitans), postencephalitic, and arteriosclerotic parkinsonism.
It is also used to control troublesome extrapyramidal symptoms, including pseudo-parkinsonism, acute dystonic reactions, and akathisia induced by neuroleptic drugs such as phenothiazine derivatives.
